- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪New Male Doctor (from Petal, Ms) who hadn't been there barely a week or two saw my grandfather on last Thursday (Jan. 2016). All he did was order blood work. He saw my grandfather was weak and needed care but wouldn't offer any that day. The staff was nice though. We were told that the blood results would be in the next day and we would be called with results and such. Didn't hear from them. Since it was a Friday, we had to wait til Monday to hear from them but still nothing. WE called them Tuesday and my grandfather was told he had a slight blood deficiency and could go to the ER for drip if he felt like it was needed. I had enough of the run around so I took him to a different Dr. in Leaksville and THAT Dr. actually admitted him and gave him IV fluids and prescriptions for meds to make him feel better. We were told that his blood work was so off that his kidneys were almost upon failing. I feel like if he had died it would be the clinics fault for not doing their jobs properly. Not so much the staff but the, in my opinion, incompetent Dr. from Petal. I have no doubt in my mind that the Petal clinic had had enough of his fails and sent him away. I hope he doesn't treat all his patients so nonchalantly. But I have a feeling this is only the beginning of bad reviews for this clinic.July 14, 2017by Jamiesa Hillman
